Ben Winter returns to Modern Aviation with the follow up to his 2020 debut, Still Animals.

Foam is an eerie and evocative collection of tracks inspired by the collision of mythology and technology, creating what Winter describes as "a noise-drenched vision of escapism into an virtual otherworldly space."

Composed on a Roland Juno, Bastl Instruments MicroGranny and a host of pedals, as well as Winter's arsenal of self-made gear, this is an immersive trip into the subconscious from the London-based sound designer, musician and visual artist.

It is the 12th release on Modern Aviation. Ben will also be contributing to our upcoming end of year compilation, Look To Imber.

Great record. wears it's influences proudly ..but retains a sliver of identity that is uniquely British and has a northern feel to it..I think that these geographic musical vignettes are realy evocotive of northern Newtown Uber estates and satellite communities..I hope this translates to a wider audience for him...he deserves the attention. give him his due .NOW . christopherogley
